I'm an Integrative Therapist which means I use a range of approaches and techniques to best suit your individual wants and needs. This can include Psychodynamic ways of working, Person-Centered Therapy and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).  I’m very happy to explain these further and give examples of what these look like.

I work with Adults and Young People aged 13+.

am also a practising Christian and for clients who share this faith we could work from this frame of reference and through a biblical lens.

If you're interested in working with me the first step would be to set up an initial meeting where you can talk freely about what brought you to me, along with any goals you may wish to achieve, and questions you may have about therapy. You will also experience what I’m like and how I work.

After our initial meeting, if you decide I am the right fit for you, we can work together to build a plan for you – it may be just a few sessions or on an open-ended basis. It helps to decide upon a time-frame together from the outset, but nothing is set in stone, and we can always review the work as it unfolds.

I have many years experience working therapeutically with children, young people and adults in the public, charity and health sectors. These experiences led me to gain more formal training and qualify as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I am passionate about supporting individuals through a therapeutic relationship to achieve their desired outcomes and goals.

My qualifications include:

  • Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy

  • Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy

  • Post-Graduate Certificate in Enhanced Evidence Based Practise from CYP-IAPT (Children and Young People Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies)

  • BCUK (Biblical Counselling UK) Year 1 Certificate Course

  • BSc in Early Childhood Studies

I am committed to regular CPD (Continual Professional Development) to enhance and increase my personal and professional learning, awareness and growth.

I am an accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and registered with the ACC (Association of Christian Counsellors).
